The RiskFlag platform
Golden Thread
The whole history of every case, on one timeline.
Every document filed, every review, every report and every key event, in date order. Show what you hold, what it replaced and when, to a regulator, an auditor or the next person to take responsibility.
Each case has named slots for the documents it needs, such as a fire strategy or a test certificate. A file in a slot carries a review date and can be cited as evidence.
When a new version arrives, the old one is kept as superseded, at its own document date. You can always see what was current, and when.
Files, reviews and reports appear on the thread by themselves. There is no separate log for anyone to keep up.
Record a construction, a refurbishment, a handover or an incident, as a point or a span on the timeline.
File older documents with their original dates, so the thread starts when the building did, not when you started using RiskFlag.
Evidence can take its validity from the review dates of the slots it uses, so it expires and renews with the documents behind it.
In the report, not just the app
Add a Golden Thread section to any report template and the history goes out with the safety case: the whole timeline, a date range or a span of named periods, with the timeline graphic and every file, or only the current ones.
For building safety, and beyond
For a higher-risk building, the golden thread is the record the Building Safety Regulator asks to see. RiskFlag’s Golden Thread works the same way for any case, whether it covers a building, an aircraft, a site or an operation.
With the Compliance module, each inspection round files its report into a slot, so the thread keeps itself up to date as checks are done. Read more about RiskFlag for housing.
